Flea Market Flip - Chair Makeover

I finally finished working on that flea market chair that I bought a few months ago.

Here is the chair before.

The chair was $3.  It was very dirty and stained, but I loved the mid century modern look it has.  I wasn't going to keep it.  I just wanted to clean it up, change the color and try to sell it.  But, I changed my mind.  I am keeping it.

Here it is now.

I wasn't sure what color I wanted to paint it.  Last week, I finally decided on this greenish yellow color.

It is Krylon ColorMaster spray paint in Citrus Green in Gloss.  Sometimes it looks green and sometimes it looks yellow, it just depends on the light.

The legs of the chair were rusted and needed a coat of paint.  I was going to paint them silver, but my husband suggested painting them black and I am glad he did.  I don't think I would have liked the chair as much with the silver legs.  My husband knows me so well.

This chair obviously doesn't belong in our office.  I just took pictures of it in there.  It will ultimately go on our deck that we are getting ready to build on the front of our house.  I will take more pictures of it out there when the deck is complete.

With paint, this chair cost less than $10.  Not bad!  Have you found anything cool at the flea market lately?
